Creekside Retreat" is a 125 acre property in the middle of Calaveras County near a small town called Sheepranch in Northern California. The staff at "Creekside Retreat" will welcome you and help you settle down. Once you are there, it is like being in your own country home. If you need something, we will be close by, but if you want to be left alone we become invisible.

The property is "off the grid" meaning that we have no public electrical utility. However, all the modern necessities are available thanks to our solar electrical power plant.

Situated in the middle of California's Gold Country, this retreat is near some great activities. You can hike, ski, swim, boat, fish, ride horses, explore or better yet just do nothing at all and relax. The small towns around offer year round delights from tasting wine, exploring antique shops, visiting gold country museums, or events such as concerts, a variety of fairs such as the Celtic Fair or the Jumping Frog Contest.
