Horse Back Riding & Stables

We have the facilities to provide boarding for your horses while you are away for the week or the weekend. If you bring your horses to Creekside to visit, you can ride for miles on trails and fire roads which snake through the Gold Country, visit Tuolumne Trails. There are meadows on the property for your horses to run and graze in and we have barns for bedding and feeding them as well. Your horses will love the turn out space we can provide!

 

Make sure you inform the staff at Creekside Retreat so that additional measures are taken to ensure a wonderful stay for your animal's).

If you would like to ride but do not have a horse, there are plenty of places that can provide you with the best animals. No hassle, no worries. Here are the few stables and riding clubs around Creekside Retreat.

Trail rides, lessons, pony rides and pony parties. Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

 

Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center- 209-962-8666 - Clements Rd, Groveland Map It!  Guided trail rides, western riding lessons, special excursions, gymkhanas, children's horsemanship and horse boarding. 

 

Yosemite Lakes Stable - 209-962-0123 - Yosemite Lakes Road off Highway 120, five miles from the national park. Open 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Sunday, hourly and half hour rates
