pm. Winter from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed on Mondays.
The ranch is located on
Parrotts Ferry Rd. in Vallecito. 7 1/2 miles north of Columbia, or take Highway 4 east from
Angels Camp & 1/2 from Moaning Caverns. The guides will teach you to find where the
gold is located. You will learn how to pan, sluice and with a permit how to dredge. They
provide the equipment and be sure that you will find gold every time, but no guarantees on
how much. Up to an ounce is yours, after that you will split.
